The 2nd looks like a chianina (google it if interested), a huge Tuscan breed, size of a carthosre, and the best T-Bones this side of the pond. The first one is a handsome looking devil, isn't he!

Killem, how right you are;-) I hadn't even noticed as I was fascinated by its face - so cute, but wicked looking at the same time.


TT, the Big Fellow is a six-year-old Charolais bullock called The Field Marshall (Telegraph.co.uk), though I do enjoy your wealth of knowledge.

I have heard that a Tuscan steak has no compare.. one of these days..
